Substrate requirement
The substrate must be firm, mature, already stabilized in volume, free of dust, grease and other impurities and must not be frozen. The substrate must be provided with measures against rising and ground moisture.
Substrate preparation
Depending on substrate water absorption and climatic conditions, the following is needed: Use Cemix 2613 primer on absorbent substrates, roughen smooth substrates or use Cemix 8040 contact bridge. If necessary, for non-standard substrates, modify with a suitable method to achieve the desired properties. Smooth unevenness of substrate with suitable Cemix materials and allow to dry and cure. The substrate shall comply with applicable codes, standards, or material manufacturer's recommendations.
Preparation of the mixture
Add the dry mixture into the prescribed amount of water. Use potable water or water complying with EN 1008. Mix using a slowspeed paddle mixer to a homogeneous, lump-free mixture. Leave to rest. Then mix again briefly. Use suitable machinery when processing by machine.

Processing instructions
A contact layer is applied to the prepared substrate. Then the necessary amount of mortar is applied with a stainless steel trowel. Level it with a lath or trowel depending on the size of the area. After setting (approx. 45 min.), the surface is eventually levelled with a grid rabot. After 3 hours it is possible to lay another layer or tiles.
