SLAG
Very finely ground granulated slag is a powdered latent hydraulic binder produced by grinding dried blast-furnace granulated slag that meets the requirements of EN 197-1 and EN 15 167-1 for the required parameters.
The activation of the slag can be carried out with Portland cement, lime, gypsum and solutions of alkaline compounds according to the intended use. Due to its properties, finely ground granulated slag is suitable for mortar mixtures, road construction, concrete mixtures as a hydraulic component to increase final strengths and overall resistance to aggressive environments.
The very finely ground granulated slag SMŠ 400 complies with PN 72 2090. The quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001.
The material can be transported by Raj rail cars or tanker trucks. Dispatch is also possible in paper bags of 25 kilograms. Ground slag must be protected against moisture during transport and storage. The permitted storage period is ninety days from the date of dispatch of the material.
